2022 Registration Information

2022 Rocky Mountain Annual Conference  & Physical Therapy Expo
September 30-October 1, 2022 | Breckenridge Resort

This annual event offers affordable continuing education, practice information, product demonstrations and networking for APTA members and other Physical Therapy professionals in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. Education sessions are designed to be applicable to all sectors and levels of the PT profession and will provide the latest techniques and trends as well as basic skills.

The full conference provides up to 12 points in Category I education towards your PT continuing competency requirement. Friday or Saturday only provides 6 points in Category I education.

2-Day Pre-Conference Course

New to this year’s program, you can add on a 2-day pre-conference Basic Wilderness and Remote First-Aid course!  This 2-day pre-conference course sponsored by the Colorado Chapter of the APTA is designed to prepare participants to evaluate, provide first-aid treatment and when necessary, safely transport injured or sick individuals who may be encountered in a remote or wilderness environment. Most of the course will be held outside in the mountain forest near the Breckinridge conference center and will use a variety of clinical scenarios. All course activities will follow the principles of Leave No Trace. Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive a 2-year basic Wilderness and Remote First-Aid Certification by American Red Cross. This course is open to all PT, PTA and Student Members and Non-Members!

 Course Prerequisites: Participants must have a current CPR/AED certification. 

This course will be held on Wednesday, September 28 and Thursday, September 29 at the same location as the conference, the Breckenridge Resort.

Pre-Conference Registration Fee

  • APTA Colorado Members – $500.00
  • Non-Members – $550.00

Please note that the registration fee for the pre-conference is in addition to the regular conference fees below. It is not included. You may also register for just the pre-conference course without attending the main conference.

STUDENTS MAY APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP TO ATTEND CONTINUING EDUCATION 

Applications for the “President’s Conference Scholarship for PT and PTA Students” is NOW available. Students must be a current member of the APTA to be eligible. You must submit your application for this scholarship no later than Friday, September 16, 2022.

CONFERENCE CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the APTA Colorado Chapter. Refund requests received by Friday, September 2 will receive a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee. Refunds received from September 3 through September 16 will receive a 50% refund minus a $25 administrative fee. There are no refunds after September 16 or for no-shows. Refunds will be processed 30 days after the event. Substitutions are encouraged.
